Connecticut Defenders Opening Day Coming Fast!
Are you ready?
It is roughly 1 month, 1 day, and 9 hours until we all are seeing the opening pitch to the 2007 season... SWEET! I myself are EXTREMELY Excited... okay so by research online... (THIS IS NOT FOR SURE SO DON'T TAKE IT FULL HEARTEDLY!!!!) I have some of the approximate people that shall be on the 2007 Roster, that were appointed during Spring Training... (PITCHERS; James Garcia, Joe Bateman, Garrett Broshuis, Eugene Espineli, Jeff Petersen, RD Speihs, Jason Waddell, Frolian Ramirez, Gerry Oakes, and Kelyn Acosta:: CATCHERS; Andy Busch:: INFIELD; Tyler Von Schell (YEAH! lol) , Aaron Sisk, Derin McMains, Jake Wald, and Aaron Hornostaj)

The reason I think this is true is there is an article ((I'll find the link again ASAP)) that says that yesterday I believe it way Kelyn Acosta was appointed to the Defenders, and that name wasn't on there last week when I looked on it.
There is so much to be looking forward to this season. Definatly food is going to be a big one since over the off season, the Defenders had decided to take food in-house, which is going to bring the fans cheaper, but good quality food. Now I don't know if its just me, but I LOVE to snack at the ball park.
I don't know what is truly happening with it but over the offseason, me and a few friends have been talking about possibly starting a Booster Club. If anyone is interested in being a Leader (preferably in the Norwich Area for easier access to the Stadium) let me know and I'll get you information.
